I'm trying to blend 3/4 cups of oats, 2 tb of nat pb, scoop of whey, and a banana.

How much water and ice cubes would I need?

You could probably get it to blend with like 1/4 cup but it'd be more like thick oatmeal.

Are you trying to make a shake? Just keep adding until you get the consistency you want....

Yup, I'm trying to make a shake but I never blended food before, so I don't even know where to start.

Just wing it, making a shake isn't an incredibly difficult procedure.

For the water agreed, it isn't a terribly difficult procedure. But if you have a ****ty blender, you're going to want to put the water and banana in first then blend, add powder blend, add peanut butter blend, then add grinded oats last to get the best result. I'm assuming you asked because you tried blending them all at once and it turned out ****ty.

add grinded oats last to get the best result.

This is important, make sure you either grind the oats or use your blender to chop them up into powder before you start. Otherwise, your going to have a shake with a bunch of oats at the bottom.
