View Full Version : How do scallops/shrimp stack up against fish?

Every night for dinner I eat a pounf of seafood. Typically cod or salmon. Naturally that can get a little boring and I find myself lusting for scallops or shrimp.

Are they just as good for you as fish?

If you are refering to the good rep fish gets from the essential fatty acids, then the answer is no, shell fish is not as "good for you" as "good" fish. Though some still have a good deal of omega 3's, like scallops. Also, very much cholesterol in shell fish, if you are concerned with that.

Just as good, and got lots of omega-3's as well. Of course not as much as salmon.
