I am experimenting and I just wanted to know from you guys about this idea?

The carbs I eat on a daily basis is 1 baked potato and a bowl of rice. But, I was told by someone that try replacing the carbs with fats and you should be good. So, I am thinking of eliminating lets say potato and rice with cheese and fats from eggs. Is this a good idea and what other healthy fats can I have ?

It all depends on the rest of your diet, but if you're restricting calories then fats are more important than carbs. Get some mono and polyunsaturated fats from avocado, nuts, PB and some oily fish.
