Hey everybody. I've tried posting on here before but seem to not be getting the help I'm needing. My scenario is I've been trying to gain weight healthy but all I've gotten is stretch marks on Both my hips, on my bicep heads and on the inner portion of both my triceps. I have a pudge and really the only differnce I see is in my back. I'm just tires of not being able to get the results I'm looking for like I see on this site. I weigh 208-207 LBS and I'm 6'2. I need some serious advice and guidence on what to do. I bought p90x and decided I'm going to follow that. I guess my main concern is what to eat and how to set up a diet the right way. It's hard for me to keep track of what I'm eating as far as writing everything down cause I guess I don't know how to mark everything down. Any help would be great.

well... for some basic info, eat a high protein, moderate carbohydrate diet, try to avoid alot of added fats, never skip meals, always eat breakfast, stay hydrated with lots of water

don't leave out the fruits and vegetables because they have lots of good vitamins/minerals, and fiber that will help you stay full longer.

why would he avoid fats? you need fats as a part of a healthy diet.

Appreciate the response the thin is I'm following what your saying but seem to gain nothing except the negatives that I mentioned. It's almost enough to make me just give up cause it's having a psychological effect on me as well

how many times a week do you train? and how hard?

I mentioned not added fats, such as butter and stuff, because fat has 9 calories per gram, that adds up fast.

3 times a day or 3 times per week? You will overtrain if you are doing 3 times per day.

well, as far as the stretch marks go... thats basically a genetic thing :( i got em' all over my body and I eat damn good too. As far as the diet goes, try something like the Metabolic Diet out, or even the Anabolic solution by DR. Di Pasquale. Its definatly worth researching. It gives a nice structured diet that is easy to follow. I can send you a message with the link to the document online if you want.
