The first pick...actually any of the first 8 picks in general are more of a burden than a gift at this point (unless you're getting a Matt Ryan or AP)

before he has even played a down in the nfl, he already has the most guaranteed money out of any nfl player right now...

If I were them I would have just taken Monroe and then Freeman in the later round.

You need a solid franchise tackle. And Freeman to Megatron would be insane

its not a repost when the discussion is about how his deal is skyrocketing the money rookies are getting (and will continue to get)

true, hopefully stafford can read defenses in 2 seconds as he is getting sacked

Freeman's going to be a bust IMO. He couldn't even complete 60%...in college.
And the Lions aren't exactly known for developing quarterbacks.
I like Rhett Bomar as a later round QB.

its tough, if you think you can draft a franchise QB, you gotta do it.

This. Should have went o-line and then built around that. They have enough picks to get some quality talent, but I honestly feel bad for Stafford. He's now on a team and in a position he just wont be able to win with.

the only reason you are acting emotional is bc you want everyone to know you might have had the first thread about it.

boo hoo, you got that info from a guy, who got if from someone else, who gave Ed Werder a BJ outside the cowboys war room for the info, and down the line.
