ok now i'm confused. i'm reading from fitday that 1 cup uncooked rice is abt approx 360 kcal. so am assuming all this time that since 1 cup uncook can serve 2 people then i assumend per person would be approx 180 kcal. but in fit day it states 1 cup cook rice is 204 - 214 kcal?? whhhat? how does cooking up rice adds up extra calories since all i add is with water? until someone proves me that water has calories, please tell me how should i calculate this then? thanx

I'd go w/ the nutrition facts label on the packaging of the rice you use and not fit day. Every brand is a little different.

Yup every brand is different. Brown rice tends to be slight lower in calories.

Cooked rice takes up more space so you get less rice in a cup therefore fewer calories.

cool. thnx, and here i thought that cooking rice could have effected the calorie content. If theres nothing to it then i`ll just stick to what i already know lol
