I've just started a bulking cycle at 170lbs, and am planning on eating 3100 calories per day. Should I factor in the shake I drink PW into the total calories, or eat 3100 calories in addition to the PW shake?

Why on earth would you not count them? What if your PWO was a chocolate cake, could you get away with that?

I usually don't factor in my PWO shake, that's not too many calories anyway.

i do but if your wanting to bulk you should be doing more cals. try 20-22 times your body weight.. for you itd be 3400-3740. may sound like alot but if you want a good bulk..must be done. just eat healthier foods and just increase serving sides. good luck bro!

I don't know what your having, but my post-workout shake is never lless than 500 calories. I think that's significant enough to factor in. :)

Of course you should. Just because the calories in PWO aren't stored as fat, doesn't mean you shouldn't count them into your plan. They're still calories, regardless.
