The last 2.5 weeks I've had extreme sciatic pain. This week was supposed to be my heavy/low rep week. I knew there was no way it was going to happen with the pain I've been in. I decided it was a good time to try something different - High Reps. I can't do legs this week but I managed to do all of my upper body work. I picked a weight where I could do at least 20 reps. Pumps were great. I think I might throw one of these workouts in once every month or every other month. On my light weeks I usually go with 12 reps/15 max.

We are doing a similar type thing. I have been lifting heavy for three months and my body was just sore as hell monday morning

we did just push ups and toning yest with lots of ab work.
Today we did Back and bi's with low weight super slow and lots of reps,
I was able to get a great bicep pump and I am sure this will help me recover from some heavy max lifts and I hope to be stronger next week when we return to a normal workout.

I agree the pump was killer!!
