i dont understand what it is? is it the same thing as flax seeds or is it a powder????? could i get abunch of flax seeds and grind them in a blender to make flax meal?

trying to make keto pancackes but kinda confused....

ya you could do that.. a coffee grinder works the best in my opinion.. flax powder is a much more easily absorbed version than flax seeds.. flax seeds have a tendancy to go right through you, so it is recommended to grind them. thats why flax powders are popular, but you can do it yourself.. it will be better because it will be more fresh.. its just a little more of a pain, but cheaper

yes what said above is true..it's like a flour u can use it as just none of the carbs like flour
a blender idk how well that would work i know a food processor works well or a coffee grinder like said above

ok so i can make actual keto pancakes with this recipe???


1/2 cup flax meal
1/2 cup of protein powder(chocalate)
3 packets splenda
1/2 cup water
2 whole eggs
1 Tbsp oil

A less used definition of meal is "course powder ground from the seed of a grain", eg. oats and flax.
