i love em! at only 4.5 grams of fat and 24 grams of protein per patty (even more with bun and cheese) i usually make a double and throw it on a whole wheat bun. good stuff and healthy too!

I don't know about the exact burger you mentioned but I just bloody envy all you guys in the US for having zillions of freakin options and tools to keep up your diets and training.

You'd hang yourselves to see how many gyms are here and what options you have. GAH :D!!

if you have a costco nearby, try buying turkey burgers, even better for you and taste good as well

The lowest % I can go is 93/7. Tastes fine to me. I made a 96/4 burger once, and it was so bad I didn't even wanna give it to the dogs.

...I did though, of course!

I couldn't imagine eating a hamburger from anything leaner than 90/10. I mostly use 85/15 or 80/20 for burgers. At 96/4, you might as well eat a chicken sandwich because it's going to be too dry. PS there's nothing wrong with animal fat.

With the 96/4 burgers, I normally get the 96/4 ground beef and add an egg into the mix. That way you get a little more healthy fats in there, tastes good too.

i actually work at costco so yes i have the turkey burgers. buffalo burgers from trader joes are great, your right, 43:12 protein to fat ratio. you can get the 96/4 patties at most stores and trader joes. i dont think they're dry, theyre good. add a piece of low fat cheddar and its awesome.

I'm not paying EXTRA for something that tastes worse, and probably has no nutritional benefits. 80/20 beef plz.

Definitely. I really don't see the point in eliminating one source of fat & adding another in place, but that's just me.

Yep...I can eat the 7% fat all day long, but the 4% is like some sort of weird "meat like" substance.

Honestly though, at this point I would rather have the 7% fat over any kind of hamburger...diet aside, just a taste thing.

I laugh at all these guys that are scared to eat 90% beef, or hell some are even scared of 96% (not OP, but guys saying TURKEY BURGERS) yet they slather PB all over chicken breasts and think its superior. Give me a good cut of beef, throw some pork chops..hell yeah ill have some chicken, but no reason to avoid beef.

OP- yes burgers are fantastic, and I have no idea why the hell people seem to think they are unhealthy.

agreed. anything over 93% is just too dry...93 or even 90 don't have THAT much more fat and they taste much better.

exactly. Even an 85 or 80 percent lean burger isn't that bad. A lot of the fat in the meat is good for you. People are just petrified of fat on here.

I get around 90g of fat in my diet, I just prefer to get it from PB because I love PB.
