83 calories per 148 grams, about 1 cup. Empty calories? All i can find in blueberries is simple sugars and maybe 1 gram of protein per 148 grams. Any reason to eat them?

they are good with yogurts, shakes, by themselves, in oatmeal, with almonds. They are great source of nutrients, and even though fructose is a simple sugar they have a moderately low GI index. antioxidants a plus. overall superfood if you ask me. just my 2 cents.

OT: I believe sludge is when you mix whey and peanut butter with just enough water to mix it and then stick it in the freezer...

Did you even for a second seriously think that blueberries could be considered "empty calories"?
