The Miami schedule isn't set. Seems like we are going back to the horrible Labor Day night game with Florida State this year.
Ugh. Those games are beyond terrible.

We have Oklahoma at Miami at some point - word is Oct. 3rd.

Most of our game dates aren't set yet either, just do it by opponent.

Penn State will be tough, but I think Pryor will dramatically improve as a passer by then. People dont realize he didnt come in early, and he took over as a starter after a couple of weeks into the season. He has never really had the time and coaching to work on his mechanics because he was always getting ready for the upcoming game that week.

People can hate on OSU all they want, but the players we have recruited lately are alot more talented then the players that are graduating.

I think we have a chance to beat USC also.

even though it was a couple years ago, Mitch Mustain has starting experience...but yeah as long as the other 10 guys at SC play good on offense, it will be a really good game

I think CAL will be good this year, they will be a top 15 team. A loss to a top 15 team I don't think will hurt them as much. They could go to the NC game it just depends on who loses. Remember two years ago LSU had two losses and played in the NC game.

f*ckin moron, don't get too cocky...you've had your ass handed to you the past few seasons by either a ****ty team (TCU, Colorado) or in a bowl game by a far more superior team...all I'm saying is watch out, your team isn't invincible.

VT will be a solid team next year, they are returning a ****load of guys. But then again, the same thing was said this time last year about Clemson. We went in as underdogs, and kicked ass. They ended up be being overrated, so you never know.

Ole miss is a solid team. Snead is a good qb. They about beat us last year, and this year they will be improved. It will be close, the last 3-4 games with ole miss have been decided by 3 points or less.

beat them the past 2 years, and if we could do it with this years team, I don't see why can't we do it again.

Last time you played them at their house, you had McFadden. HE beat them.

I don't see that being a win.

Way to be optimistic though.

Bama's schedule. Bold denotes a win. Bold/Italic denotes toss up.

Sept. 5 vs. Virginia Tech (Atlanta)
Sept. 12 Florida International
Sept. 19 North Texas
Sept. 26 Arkansas
Oct. 3 at Kentucky
Oct. 10 at Ole Miss
Oct. 17 South Carolina
Oct. 24 Tennessee (**** you Kiffin)
Oct. 31 ---Open Week---
Nov. 7 LSU
Nov. 14 at Mississippi State
Nov. 21 Tennessee-Chattanooga
Nov. 28 at Auburn

Either 12-0 (face UF in SEC CG), 11-1, 10-2, or 9-3. 3 toss up games on the list. The rest seems to easy unless they just flat out drop the ball in a game.

I don't see us beating UF in SEC CG, but it would be nice to see again. Going to have to beat LSU first though. At least this time they come to see us.

:)

No NC though. :(

PSU and Purdue are worse than last year and both games are home games. The PSU game last season ended up not very close but it was close for 2 1/2- 3 quarters and Purdue won on a last second play. Now it is possible that MI loses to PSU as they will be the better team but MI could win against MSU/Il/Iowa/WI.

Maybe they don't win 7 but I really don't see it as delusional. Remember MI has 8 home games and the #7 recruiting class with 2 dual threat Qbs.

I see Tech being more dangerous than LSU. We beat them last year, in their own house.

USC's defensive backups are studs too. Not as good as last year (obviously) but there's tons of playmakers.

And Pryor did nothing except for make himself look like an idiot. USC made the entire OSU team their bitches.

If the game was at the Horseshoe next year I would give OSU a decent chance, but not playing at Southern Cal. Not a chance.

Edit - Nevermind. I thought something seemed wrong when it said they were playing in Southern Cal again. I would say OSU actually has a shot in this game.

Peyton Hillis, Felix Jones, and Casey Dick were all HUGE contributors. Our defense played pretty dang good too. But I forgot, d dawg didn't play for ARKANSAS right? it was a team win, so was this years win. But please, try to take away from any of our wins the past few years with d. As long as it makes you feel bigger about yourself. brb, being put on probation

All I was saying was that McFadden was the reason you guys beat LSU at home. I mean come on...he basically outran the Tigers himself in that game.

He was a great athlete, and you guys should be proud you had him.

I have no idea how LSU lost to you guys last year. Especially when Bama handed you one of the worst losses of your season.

But I gave the Razorbacks props when they managed it. I just don't see it happening again in LSU's house. They will be better. I'm sure Ark will too...but something tells me it's going to go their way. Obviously I'm not 100% on this...and I would love to see you guys prove me wrong.

beat them the past 2 years, and if we could do it with this years team, I don't see why can't we do it again.

LSU was flat out awful last year. With a change at QB, you won't see the same team. In 2007, it was a classic example of a team looking forward to the NC and not paying attention to the little teams. In fact, I can't say, even as bad as LSU was in 2008, they weren't doing the same thing again.

It's nice to look at your schedule and assume you can automatically beat LSU. I don't think UF or Bama are doing that, and they are far stronger teams than Arkansas. I guess you realize the game is in Baton Rouge.

Hell, anything can happen. I didn't expect LSU to go 8-5 last year. Then again, who did?

It's a case of playing down or up to your opponent. In 2006, Arkansas was undefeated in the SEC, so LSU beat them. In 2008. LSU sees bama as the team to beat, so they play Bama close, but give up something like 4 picks to lose it...in overtime. Then, they lose to an Arkansas.

That's about all I can figure. If you polled all the unbiased folks out there, I don't think anybody in their right mind would think Arkansas is the probable winner for the 2009 game...much less will keep it close.

That Bama/LSU game was crazy wasn't it. I was pissed cuz Bama's O was playing kinda trashy that day. Luckily Julio is a damn beast.

Yeah, and everyone never would have thought ULM would have beat bama in 2007. But are you crazy enough to assume ULM could even play on the field with Bama the next time they play?

Out of the 54 times LSU and Arkansas have played Arkansas has won 19. I guess they have to win one every once in a while.

Nobody takes Arkansas serious. I know that hurt, but I'm sorry to say that.

The addition of 2 solid freshman qbs makes the wolverine offense much better than last year. With all 5 o-linemen returning and a deep group of tailbacks led by Brandon Minor, the wolverine rushing attack will be able to keep pressure off of the young Tate Forcier. Also the defense will be much better thanks to the hiring of Greg Robinson as dc.

People forget that he has 2 superbowl rings and is also a proved dc at the college level when he was at texas in 2004. That was a great hire. Some people are just not cut out to be a head coach but excel at being a dc or oc. All you have to do is look at Dick Lebeau.

Yeah, I'm alright with Robinson. He'll be far better than Schafer that's for sure.

bmy got cocky last year and predicted a 5 loss Bama season. That didn't really work out for him.

If JPW played in 'junior form' I would have been right too ;)

Most improved player on your team this season -- bar none. Frick him. :p And now onto my prediction..

Sep. 5 @ Washington
Sep. 12 Vanderbilt
Sep. 19 UL-Lafayette
Sep. 26 @ Mississippi State
Oct. 3 @ Georgia
Oct. 10 Florida
Oct. 24 Auburn TBA
Oct. 31 Tulane TBA
Nov. 7 @ Alabama
Nov. 14 Louisiana Tech
Nov. 21 @ Ole Miss
Nov. 28 Arkansas

-I see LSU being 5-0 heading into Florida. Georgia seems to have LSUs number though.. so 4-1 would not shock me. I think we should be able to pull this one off though.

-Florida is going to be tough. We get them early in the season and might be able to shock them. I wouldn't count on it. A week off before Auburn .. and then Tulane.. then Bama.

-Gives LSU practically (3 weeks, if Auburn is decent) a month to prepare for Bama. They beat us at home.. time to beat them at home. Toss-up game.

-Tech a week before Ole Miss. A week to nurse injuries that are earned against Bamas defense. Toss up game? Who knows.

-I don't see Arkansas beating LSU 3 in a row. Not without a meltdown. Arkansas will be a good team next year.. but I've got LSU to win this time. I'm looking for 10-2 (9-3 if UGA beats us). Bowl win to put us at 11 (or 10) wins. Top-10 finish.

He wasn't even really that good...he just stopped overthrowing as damn much and stopped throwing so many damn picks. Didn't really become anything outstanding...just stopped making a lot of mistakes. I expect McElroy/Jackson/McCarron to be better fundamentally during their careers though.

Let's hope not. Should be a good game.

-Tech a week before Ole Miss. A week to nurse injuries that are earned against Bamas defense. Toss up game? Who knows.

Expect there to be a lot. Bama sent every LSU O lineman out with an injury at some point in the game. With Hightower moving into a speed rush position, prepare to see some better QB pressure. Very likely Nico will replace his inside position if he wins out in practice. Another bruiser D for Bama for sure.

I didn't put it together that it was at the end of the season. That could be the deciding factor...injuries. Like you I don't see Arkansas winning 3 in a row against LSU...but you never know. I didn't see them beating LSU last year either.

f*ckin moron, don't get too cocky...you've had your ass handed to you the past few seasons by either a ****ty team (TCU, Colorado) or in a bowl game by a far more superior team...all I'm saying is watch out, your team isn't invincible.

and wtf does "SEC fanboi-ism" have to do with anything? You're just mad that you suck in big games and can't deal with playing better teams and getting raped

Oh yeah, before i forget...96-88 :)

Comon, we know the Sooners are a regular season powerhouse. We play OkSU at Home, we don't lose at home, period. Last time we lost at home to a Big12 team was 2001 or something like that.

Speaking of TCU, top 5 team next year. Book it. The will win the MWC and dominate their bowl game.
