View Full Version : What type of diet would a rugby / football player have?

Im not trying to bulk up to be in a body building competition. I just dont like looking to lean and bulky with veins everywhere. Not my style.

I do however appreciate the form of a rugby or football (american football, not european) player.

What sort of diet routine do you think these guys go through on a daily basis? Perhaps any supplements involved as well?

Im 6'2 at 93 kgs (204 lbs). 3 years ago I was weighing at 75 kgs (165 lbs), until I started working out properly and balancing my diet. However, even at 93 kgs, I still think I can gain significantly more.

Strength athletes all have the same nutritional requirements. There's nothing specific football players eat that other athletes don't. They just don't train for hypertrophy.
