When I hate on Roflisburger, I do so objectively. I don't hate him or the Steelers, so no, I'm not mad. I just recognize his overratedness and I says to the misc "wow this guy is overrated". I have friends who are Steelers fans and they agree with that assessment.

If by overrated you mean playing great regardless of the mediocrity of his o-line and undersized WR's, then yes, he is overrated.

I'm guessing your "best QB" makes more money doing commercials than playing football. ;)

We don't have tickets yet. We'll probably just end up partying all weekend and watching the game at a bar near the stadium.

The misc has been overrun by Steelers fans. Where were they 4 months ago? I bet you half of the Steelers "fans" can't even point on a map where Pittsburgh is even located let alone name a player from the 80s or 90s.

This is not a knock on the posters who've stuck with the Steelers since they've been with the misc such as fivas, formula1, kens, but the bandwagon has become overloaded.

Just because we dont have the steelers in our sig, doesnt mean were not fans.

First sports jersey I ever bought was #95.

I remember as a kid wanting to kill Neil O'Donnell for throwing the game (I still think Slash should have been brought in) and giving the cowboys #5

From 1933-1970, the Steelers had 4 winning seasons. It wasn't until Chuck Noll came that they started winning.

Chuck Noll was a disciple of Paul Brown and played for the Cleveland Browns championship teams. Bill Cowher played for the Browns and coached for the Browns. Mike Tomlin got his first job with the Browns.

You're welcome.

Steelers fans have never been able to say they've had more winning seasons than losing seasons. Ever.
The moral of the story? Even in success, the Steelers are still owned by the Browns.

I don't know what you're talking about. PGH, born and raised. (no fresh prince)

I've been on the waiting list for season tickets for almost 8 years...I quit my job, bailed on my lease and moved back to Pittsburgh 3 days before we won our last Super Bowl so I could be there to celebrate the championship I've been waiting my entire life to win. (the one for the thumb)

I don't know where you're from, but in Pittsburgh it's bred into you as a child. It's our culture. Don't tell me about football because, as pathetic as some may think, I eat, breath and sleep Stiller football just like the rest of the yinzers. You're mistaking Stiller Nation for a bandwagon you friggin' jaggoff! ;)

Unless you're 80 years old and saw the Browns beat on the Steelers, and you remember the days when you had to ration your food and saw the Steelers and Eagles combine duirng "the war" I could really care less.

From 1933-1970, the Steelers had 4 winning seasons. It wasn't until Chuck Noll came that they started winning.

Since 1972, the Steelers have had a total of 7 losing seasons.

Since 1999, the Browns have had 8 losing seasons.

and in reference to your original statement, the Steelers actually had 7 winning seasons prior to 1972.

Steelers fans have never been able to say they've had more winning seasons than losing seasons. Ever.

Incorrect. We have a historical record of 520-488, and we have 35 winning seasons, 32 losing seasons.

Your data is old. Standard protocol for a Cleveland Brown fan, poor saps that you are, you live SOOOOOOO far in the past.

Oh yeah, we're also 57-55 against the Browns in head-to-head. Take a guess how many wins you have against the Steelers in the last 2 decades? I'll give you a hint. We've won more against you in the last 5 years than you've won in the last 20. ;)

The moral of the story? Even in success, the Steelers are still owned by the Browns.:D

and then your alarm rang, and you were forced to wake up to a sad reality
