Corell Buckhalter
Darren Sproles
Chester Taylor
Derrick Ward

Of the RBs above, which would put up the best numbers next season if they were traded/signed to another team and were the starting running back.

Buckhalter is the only one I can see being a starter and successful.

Derrick Ward and Chester Taylors success is mostly due to the starters wearing the teams down

Sproles is just too small to be an every down back for an entire season

unlike the others, Chester has proved he can start

2 years ago he ran for 1216 yards and 6 TD's

this.

Ward could be a beast, but he's as injury-prone as Brandon Jacobs

Buckhalter was supposed to be the #1 back in 2004, but he got hurt and missed the whole season. He got hurt again in 2005 and missed the whole season. He got hurt a year after he was drafted and missed all of 2002 as well. I seriously doubt any team would sign him to be the #1 back with his history of injuries. He was a FA a couple years back and drew no interest (understandably so) and re-signed w/the Eagles.

I'm going with the trendy pick and saying Sproles.

Sproles??? are you kidding me? he's just a little guy and is never gonna be more than a #2 or #3 in the league.

Sproles is quick and has been one of my favortie players to watch for a few years now, but he is just to small to be an every down back for an entire season. It just wouldnt work.

Chester Taylor would be a starter on at least 3/4 of the teams but hes stuck behind Adrian Peterson for now

Chester Taylor, although honestly Kevin Smith would be a beast if he didn't play for the Lions
