Ed Reed is getting robbed all over the place.

It's not the first time for him and an award. Read up on the '01 Thorpe award.

I say Harrison was a good choice as would have been Reed (who wasn't "robbed") or Ware. My only problem is no mention of other players I listed- I believe they were Nick Collins and Oshimogo (or w/e) also Bradie James.

I guess DPOY is also somewhat a popularity contest. You tell me how the **** is Haynesworth's name even still in the running?

When the **** did Ed Reed get a bandwagon? Since yesterday's game?

ridiculous that 20 sacks doesnt get you DPOY

Harrison played 1 fewer game, losing to ware by 4 sacks but beating him by an additional 17 tackles, 1 safety, 1 deflection, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble.

I also think JH was deserving due to the nature of his big plays... many of them causing game changing swings and scores that helped his team. Pretty much defining the word valuable. Ware had some sandbag games. Not to mention the Steelers had a much more difficult schedule and actually made the playoffs.

JH or Reed would be the best candidates.

Not to mention he was the best player on the best defensive team in the league.

I'm sure Ed Reed being invisible for the first 11 games of the season played into things. The fact that he's on defense and had exactly 1 game during the season with > 3 tackles also probably played into it.

Omg, I was SOOOO pissed that year.

First they get ****ed over by the phantom PI call in OT, then Reed doesnt get the award.

Reed should have gotten it. 9 pickles, 2 touchdowns and the fact that offenses have to throw away from him on every play make him a good pick

By that logic Nnamdi Asomugha should be DPOY

actually, they don't. He's a FS, not a corner. He doesn't cover people, he just sits back and reads the QB (which he is INSANELY good at)

Wish Ware would have won it. He was a stud this year, and is every year.
