Hey Everyone, So recently i decided to bulk up a bit after losing a lot of weight in the past couple months. Went from 5'10 190 at around 12 percent body fat down to 170 at 9 or 10 percent. Took a new job and was working around 80 hours a week and stressed a lot.
Anyways, i have started bulking and taking in around 3000 calories and have seen some gains already in a short time. My question is how safe is dairy in large amounts during bulking? I usually eat a lot of yogurt (probably four or five 6 oz. cups a day) and am currently thinking of drinking a lot of milk. With working and everything is it a smart idea to intake 1500 calories of yogurt/milk a day? I know prepared meals would be more ideal but in a squeeze i am hoping this works. Thanks for any input.

Cottage Cheese. A large piece of the puzzle in a bulk diet. Its loaded with potein. The clumps in it are actually coagulated proteins. Pretty cool stuff.

Actually...the clumps would be curded cheese.....which does contain protein....but the name cottage cheese---the curds would = cheese.

I love Milk, but be careful.....

Too much Milk can cause Kidney Stones due to buildup of Calcium deposits....drink in Moderation, dont get stupid with it. 90% of Kidney Stone issues are due to super-excessive Calcium Buildup....

Yeah you'll be swoll, but later in life try pissing that Baseball through something the size of a garden hose.....

Drink Milk, but also throw some water into mix.....

Im hoping the calcium buildup will not be too much of a problem. I generally drink around two gallons throughout the day, im constantly drinking cold water.

Raw milk can increase the chances for Listeriosis (cause by Listeria monocytogenes in milk). Listeriosis can stay in your system anywhere from 3-70 days. Can have some uncomfortable symptoms too, no fun. Id stick to pasteurized milk.
