so im taking a week of the gym starting tommorow, so i figured id use the time and bulk. What are some good diets, foods etc to really pack on weight and calories? Thanks

I am going to try to be nice. Eat carbs, proteins, and fats in a caloric excess. I cant bring myself to say anymore.

x2 on the above post. But... I'm hoping you realize that bulking takes more than a week to really accomplish anything.

I think it's safe to project 1-2 pounds of fat.

Especially when considering that he's taking a week off the gym?? :confused: So let me see if I have this straight....OP is going to sit on his couch and pig out, calling this "bulking"?

you guys got this the wrong way..Im not saying that im gona put on 5-10 pounds in a week. What i meant was, since im NOT working out, it be a good time to load up on carbs etc..Is it that hard? Jesus

And no, im not pigging out.. I eat healthy

It's a complete mystery as to how we could all have got the wrong end of the stick from your opening post. I mean, now you've pointed it out, it's clear what you meant.

But to answer your 'actual' question, there's little point in stuffing your face on a week off. Just eat as you normally would, without your post workout nutrition.
