Why is a good piece of lean pork shunned over chicken or beef.

If you break down the protein content of all 3 meats they tend to be quite similar in nutritional value, so why do fitness fanatics shy away from this source of protein?

A lot of people have a mistaken notion of all pork being excessively fatty, when in fact, there are some very lean cuts of pork. It mazes me how many people apparantly won't take the time to look up nutritional information, instead of just thinking of various foods as good or bad based on some random thing they heard.

Costco baby ! I got 14 monsterous pork chops for like $15.. each had a small 1cm amount of fat around the edge.. cut it off and throw it on the grill and your good to go

mmmm pork roast. I have a roast of pork almost every week. Don't cheap out on what you buy and the nutrients will be there.
