ties are pointless since no one else will tie so basically its like a defeat for both teams

Agreed. I heard someone on the radio suggest that field goals should not count, just TDs. I like that idea a lot.

There should never be a tie in a football game.

Usually people complain that overtime sucks because it's too easy to score. Now people complain after a tie. Good ****.

A tie outside your conference stings a lot less than a loss or a loss/tie within your conference.

Nah it goes both ways. Let's say Philly finishes 9-6-1 and the 7th place team in the conference finishes 9-7. Not losing today puts Philly in the playoffs. It's still weird as hell to see though.

eagles remaining scheduele now

@ravens - win
@giants - loss
@redskins - loss
vs cowboys - loss
vs cardinals - win
vs browns - win

imo eagles have to go 5 and 1, will they, no, games they ****ed up this season @ bears, vs redskins, @ bengals

these needed to be wins

eagles will finish 8-7-1 i think, and last in division

yeah your right in what you say.

Because it's a boring-ass game. Maybe they shouldn't have played such ****ty football and one of them could have come away with a win. They don't deserve another quarter of play for not wrapping the game up in the first 5..

That's one of the worst ideas I've ever heard.

Hah yeah I wasn't saying the Eagles would make the playoffs with the amount of competition there's gonna be for those wild card spots in the NFC this year. Just saying a tie isn't "basically a loss".

LOL wow that's being extremely generous as well. I doubt the Eagles beat Ravens or the Cardinals. They have a shot against the Browns... maybe.
