Can I just eat tuna, eggs, some beef and whole grain breads and lose weight while still support muscle growth?

These things would be very cheap.

that sounds gross to eat for every meal all the time, and no that is not very balanced diet.

Sure, you could. Would you really want to? Are there better ways?
In short though, if that works for you, then go for it but remember your multi and veggies. Your body will be much happier.
And remember, in general, whey, oats, natty pb pwo. Those are all cheap. (college student here)

I check 2 stores each week and still spend like $75 a week. I figure I'll sac other things over eating all I need.
