actually, I don't see any big surprises in a good way, but lots of disappointments.

Brady going down

Colts doing average

Cowboys doing crappy w/out Romo.

Giants doing well considering what's his face retired, and the other guy getting hurt, they are doing great.

biggest surprise is theirs no stand out teams in the league, so when anyone loses its just like meh i aint surprised, worst nfl season ive seen since i started watching 2000, still great though as my eagles have a shot at playoffs, maybe even a superbowl

You can add the Bears and Bucs to the list, both teams have been in every game and all thier losses have been b/w 3-4 points with an oppurtunity to win it in the end.

Most people picked the VIkes or GB for the North

and Carolina and NO for the South

I'm surprised by the early impact of a lot of rookies. I mean look at guys like Matt Ryan, Forte, Slaton, Chris Johnson, etc.

And the funny part is, going into the season the only rookie I was really high on was Darren McFadden. And right now, he's not even on the field.

the inner homer in me says Kyle Orton and Matt Forte

besides that though, Chris Johnson, Eddie Royal, and Matt Ryan are very promising looking rookies.

Year of the rookie running back.

Chris Johnson
Steve Slaton
Matt Forte
Jonahtan Stewart
Tim Hightower
Felix Jones
Ray Rice
Darren Mcfadden
Kevin Smith
Ryan Torrain
Chris Perry
Rashaad Mendenhall

Never seen a more impressive draft at running back ever. Some of these guys havent made a big impact yet, but I can see a bright future for a lot of them.
