1gr carb = 4 cals

1gr protein = 4 cals

1gr fat = 9 cals

you do the math yourself.

When solving for carbs, you do 0.50 (50%) times 3,000. This gives you 1,500, you then know carbs are 4 calories per gram so 1,500 calories divided by 4 is 375 grams. When solving for proteins, you do 0.30 (30%) times 3,000. This gives you 1,000 calories, you then know proteins are 4 calories per gram so 1,000 grams divided by 4 is 225 grams. When solving for fats, you do 0.20 (20%) times 3,000. This gives you 600 calories, you then know fats are 9 calories per gram so 600 grams divided by 9 is 66.7 grams.
