Voted shortly after waking up this morning.

Reps for advocating voting brotha, too many people just don't understand how important it is to make your voice heard.

3rd party brah.

If one of them gets 5% it opens up the allowance of federal funding and future debates with parties other than the democraps and republiscams.

My mom said it took her 45 mins, I was in and out in 5. Of course I was there after the crowd headed to work at 8.

Nah, you're enjoying your right and freedom to vote, so good on you brother.

It all depends on the state I guess... My state was at 65% Obama when I voted.

Missouri is usually a red state, but I think if Obama can snag KC and St Louis he'll take it. He just has to get the suburban vote around there, which is traditionally conservative.

I am livid

Lol yea around here they have "No Electioneering Beyond This Point" signs up at all the polling places about 25 yards away from the buildings.

lmao; everyone is saying its going to be a blowout of sorts but I personally think we are in for a late night.

I think some of the battleground states may end up a blow-out, but I agree it'll be close. This election is kinda the lesser of 2 evils IMO. Obama is a little too liberal for me, and while I respect McCain.... I just can't vote for him knowing that Palin would be VP, and that she could potentially be my Commander in Chief.

If the Republicans weren't trying to "save face", they would have nominated Romney, but I think they were smart in preserving his candidacy for 2012. As for the Dems, I was really hoping Wes Clark would have ended up on the ballot.

To those who haven't: Don't just vote for who you'd like to be the next President/VP, make sure you vote on the props. too!

My state only had 3. And I had to vote no on that "English only" amendment, that's just stupid.

What, you don't think it makes sense for a country founded on the principle of freedom to decide what language people should be speaking? :D

well there are more swing states swinging the other way this time around.. VA's been as red as can be my whole life, so I find it hard to believe that Obama is as far ahead as those polls suggest.

Exit polls are always flawed, and depending on what network is reporting the results, they are going to be biased.

well I was really talking about the polls before the election, they never seem to have it right. Called VA a battleground state in '04 and Bush won easily.

Anyone else not a fan of the electoral college system?

Its too confusing. On the other hand, if you go with popular vote, that will encourage people to cheat by voting multiple times. I think the whole system needs to be overhauled.

I don't like either one of those tools who are running for the major party tickets, but it is my duty to vote, and so that I have done.

Maybe if I supported either candidate I wouldn't have minded waiting in line for 2 hours. Yuck.

But, GO VOTE! It may take a while, but it is YOUR DUTY!
