I want to lose weight but also want to tone up my muscles, should i take these shakes or it is not for what I want to do? I go to the gym about 4-5 times a week and do about 20-30 minutes of cardio each time. Any help is appreciated. THanks.

If you can't get in your daily allotment of protein then yes. Otherwise, I think whole food is superior.
