A fasting diet consisting of only water and whey protein for 2 weeks?

I'm not planning on this, but I'm just wondering...

Will you lose a lot of fat?
Even more muscle?
Will it cleanse the body?

I wouldn't never suggest a fast.

1- your body will more than likely go into starvation mode a.k.a metabolism playing hide and seek. Your metabolism doesn't like fast or anything that extremely limits food.

2- I don't see how a fast can cleanse your body. Cleanse it from what? Only thing a fast will do is make you feel like crap and slow your metabolism down.

3- Yes you'll probably lose muscle. Your body will not have enough food so it will start eating up your muscles for a quick snack.

So, basically a fast is a waste of time and energy.

Eat healthy and exercise. It's the best and quickest way to get into shape and have a nice body and mind. Your body needs and wants food. Give it what it wants in moderation, and it'll respond by letting you do as you please, which is probably live a happy life with a great body and mind.

Didn't even need to read it. Because, any benefits you could possibly gain from a fast are out-weighed by all the negatives that come with a fast, which is destruction of muscle tissue, super slow metabolism, brain function, etc other stuff people have mentioned.
