This may be a dumb question with a quick answer however I'm intrigued about night time nutrition since my schedule usually has me finishing my work out around 8 in the evening.
Right now my routine usually starts with a 30 min jog/ HIIT every other day then 1 hour of lifting. Immediately after my workout I'll have a whey protein shake (pre-packed variety) then within the next 45minutes +/- I'll have my dinner which usually consists of 1 6-8oz chicken breast, .5c uncooked rice and roughly a handful of spinach. Then right before bed, sometime around 10ish I'll have two spoonfuls of natty PB.
Is this just too much this late in the evening if my goals are for fat loss, I'm trying my hardest to cut the last 14lbs I'm carrying to reach my goal of 180 and I'd really love to accomplish that within the next 6 weeks before the damn holidays begin.
Thanks for any advice and help!!

Eating anything at night is fine. Your body doesn't have a clock to know what time it is and what is good to eat at that time..Not eating carbs at night is a myth.

Also do your cardio after your lifting to get best results(depleted glycogen makes sure your using fat for energy) I usually stretch then do 5 minutes on the bike, do my workout(lifting) then if I do cardio that day I do it after.
