samardzija could've been both. I'm guessing teams wouldn't want to sign a guy to a contract like that anymore unless it was someone of Bo Jackson's caliber.

I remember Deion roaming the fields of Fulton County and the Dome. Great football player, just decent in baseball though.

I doubt it...from the amount of money both the NFL and MLB put into their players I doubt it will happen (not saying it couldnt).

He did have that one really good season in '92 when he tore **** up in the World Series.

Anyone recall that time he hit a home run and a scored a touchdown in the same week? Haha, I was too young to remember that but that's a pretty impressive thing.

yep!
deion sanders was a gimmick, compared to bo jackson!
bo jackson made the all-star team and the pro-bowl!
a feat that we may never see again!

John Smoltz has said that he used to be a better basketball player than baseball player, and I've heard he keeps up with Tiger when they golf.

Yeah, Vick could have been a great outfielder and lead-off man if he had chosen baseball. Imagine trying to throw Mike out on the basepaths...

carl crawford turned down a nebraska scholorship to be their qb. He would've been an option qb at that school...doubt that would translate into the pros. Plus, he never played a down of college ball.
