All I know of is finasteride, rogaine, and nizoral.

I am actually taking nizoral right now, but 1% haven't noticed any changes yet from it.

What are the side effects from finasteride? What about rogaine? I'm not losing hair, or turning thinner, its just thin.

Reps for some serious knowlegable posts.

If the sticky was an actual good sticky I'd read it.

It's more of a 'read through' sticky, than a true informative OP sticky.

What about revita shampoo? I'm thinking about rogaine, but scared it makes me lose hair.

i use a shampoo from a salon called Nyoxcin (can't recall the spelling). I got a shampoo/conditioner on sale for $32. If you can only get them separately, they are around $25 or so each.

It helps dissolve DHT (what leads to baldness/thinning) which basically allows hair you have to grow. It does not re-grow new hair, but will thicken over time where hair is still growing. For example, some follicles produce 2-3 hairs and if its clogged up with ****, only 1 may actually be growing out.

It's more of maintaining what you've got. It's my understanding that once you get started w/Rogaine, you must continue use. Not so w/this though I see no reason to stop.
