View Full Version : Last meal prior workout?

when should I eat my last meal before my workout? I used to eat for about hour before workout but I felt horrible in the gym...I was about to vomit every few minutes, very bad feeling...can you help me? Thx

I feel good even going 20 min after eating but try not to go over 2 hours.. 45-90 min are fine.. If your bulking and your Pre-wo Meal contain lot of carbs (dont drink too much water) wait 10-15 min until you eat then drink water ..i heard it works not to get bloated if ur sensitive

Man when I eat hour prior my wokout i feel bad...my stomach...dunno whats the problem...

I do a protein drink 1 1/2 hours before and some carbo's 45 min before hand. Then a preworkout NO drink.

what do you eat?.. to have stomach problem 1 Hour after eating u might be eating too much though..
eat 2 - 2 and a half hours be4 your workout then.. Take a Scoop of whey protein in water with some oats in it.. it could not hurt your stomach though

whats your carbo meal?

2 rice cakes, If i didn't have any almonds that day ill put a light spread of peanut butter on them. Something with flax or Omega-3's or both. No jiffy.

I eat exactly 2 hours before, Anything less and I feel like crap.

The same here man...the same...I feel then so weak like ****...very bad feeling...

I try and eat my preworkout meal at a minimum of 2 hours prior. I've experimented with eating closer to the actual workout but found this works best for me.

Well I eat some rice with chicken, not too much...maybe the problem are komplex crabs hidden in rice, I about to change it for simple carbs like glukoze or maltodextrin...Is it ok not to eat 2 hours before workout? Im afraid my body would lack some nutrients...

Yes, same here. I find the food is digested properly after this two hours but I am not feeling bloated or hungry. I do eat a smalle meal though, namely two eggs and two pieces of toast.

Slow digesting carbs 30-45 minutes pre-workout
