At least he has a sense of humor about how many blown saves he had.


"So this is it," Jones wrote in this week's magazine. "If you're a Tigers fan, I'll never stress you out again. If you're not a Tigers fan, you'll never have me as your ace in the hole, convinced I'll blow a lead against your team."

that makes me like him. hes not like douche burger trevor hoffman who acts like the most surprised man on the planet when he blows a save, even though its inevitable, in every big game.

I always liked Todd Jones. At least he knew when it was time to move on.


He's not a Hall of Famer or anything, but he was a decent closer for a number of years.

lol a good way to go out. He was never dominate, just got the job done. Usually was a better than average closer, just not stellar.
