the company isnt giving me any advice if this protein is pasteurized or not.

i just bought some. should i be concerned? i don't want salmonella or a biotin deficiency.

anyone know how long avidin is in the gut for and retains its ability to bind biotin?

would adding a biotin supplement offset the problems with this egg white protein?

It's safe. I think I read somewhere it has to be pasteurized by law. If you get sick, you can always sue.

Making dried egg white protein isn't unique. Dried egg whites are pan or spray dried and pasteurized. The heat treatment will denature it to some degree like cooking would. Heat treatment / pasteurization typically neutralizes avidin to some degree but the biotin issue is overexaggerated anyway.
