no denying or doubting the dude's ability. Can he stay healthy? That's the only real question with him

Landry, he's still awesome though, just not so much on that play

any RB worth his salt should steamroll a 200-lb DB when he has a full head of steam.

Granted, Juggernaut REALLY steamrolled him, but nonetheless...

Yeah, but Jacobs picked up 5 or 6 more yards after contact.

Damn, the defense is probably like **** everytime Eli hands him the ball.

I wouldn't want to tackle that.

I was pissed when the Eagles drafted Ryan Moats ahead of this guy, I knew Brandon Jacobs was going to be a beast coming out of college.

He's no Marion the Barbarian..

True that, Jacobs is 5 inches taller, and 45 lbs heavier. Dispite the huge size difference Barber only beat Jacobs 40 time by 3/100ths of a second at the combine.

Barber averaged 4.8 yards a carry in a backup role, and Jacobs averaged 5 yards per carry in a starting role.

Jacobs also has a Super Bowl ring.

The same if he went up high on him, but Taylor would have known better, and went low.

Check out the impact in slow motion here at 51 seconds in. It's almost like a shock wave going through Landry.

laron landry is a great player he was all over the field. but he got trucked and also jacobs juked him the fck out on another amazing play and he was caught behind by a DE andre carter. if not for that DE hustling on the play jacobs wouldve went into the endzone. for like 50 yrds

It's almost illegal to have an offensive lineman playing tailback. :D

Haha, I was just going to make a Jacobs thread. He is by far my favorite player in the NFL, and the most entertaining to watch.

I forgot about some of those runs. F*ck, he's amazing. I felt good wearing his jersey today after a job well done. :D

I've met Jacobs in person twice, and both times he's been suprisingly nice.

He is definatly great to Giants fans.. .

There is a reason why I drafted him on my main fantasy team. Dude is still young too. He is going to get better.

I don't think anyone with a lick of sense denies Jacobs' potential in the least.

He's one of those dudes who is going to have a pile of youtube videos in short time, a la Earl Campbell. The real question is, will he also have a short-lived career? That's the real question. Gotta love his physical potential though.

Well, you gents know me and my anally-retentive statistical statements

Barber had 204 carries, Jacobs had 202. :D

Yeah, but those aren't starting carries.

I'm willing to bet if Derrick Ward carried the rock 10 times before Jacobs touched it, he'd have an even higher YPC average then he already has.
