16oz container of egg substitute/egg whites

2 scoops ON Whey Protein

Two chicken breasts

1 can tuna

1 glass milk/1 cup cottage cheese

I don't know, that doesn't seem like a lot. Each of those is around 45-50g except for the last 2 (tuna is around 35, milk/cc is around 20). Does that seem like a lot of protein?

would you be eating that in one day? thats much more than you need.

Yeah I figured. Yes I have been eating less than that (around 220g) a day and stuffing myself with carbs, yet no weight gain. I guess I should just eat even more carbs...

Most people would be surprised at the amount of protein they need. 9 times out of 10 they think it's a ridiculous high amount when it's not. I take in about 210g a day or so and often it's difficult to get it that low!

increase fat and carbs. 1 g/lb of protein is more than necessary

That is exactly what I think! I find it extremely hard since I'm so used to eating plenty of protein. And that's not even taking into account the small amounts of protein that comes from my usual carb/fat sources (oatmeal, wheat bread, peanut butter etc)

If i only counted "protein sources" (eggs, meat, dairy) I'd only be getting to like 100g protein max. Counting carbs/fat sources i get to around 205-215g usually.
