I am not sure if its waterweight, but for the last two days I have been eating alot of carbs (like 200g, i weigh 183 now :P). I am always like "okay, I bet I weigh 185 again but when I check I am down by .05! this happened again from yesterday which was 183.5!!!!. I also don't run in the morning because of my flu but I do heavy lifting at night still. Any ideas? Can this be muscle or is it just water?

oh yea forgot to add, recently I have been eating about 2.2k calories a day.. Before that, I was barley seeing any results. Could this have to do the increased weightloss? I am confused :(

That certainly will not last long.

Having the flu can dehydrate you regardless of water intake.

Losing .5 lbs a day over a few day span is not uncommon at all.

True that. It doesn't last, though. :)

0.5lb?!

My weight swings by about 5 lbs from one day to another, and within a range of about +/- 2lbs on the same day. I know: DIFFERENCE IN HYDRATION. So, even though lots of carbs would imply MORE weight due to water gained, like RU4A69 said, it could be the flu. That said, I still wonder how 0.5lb is enough to be of any significance since it is really within "hydration error"
