View Full Version : Increased Gas/farting?! lol anyone else?

Going from my normal eat whatever I want diet to a strict high protein/carb diet I seem to have developed an increase in gas leakage....hah

I read that carbs can cause gas...but dunno...

Any thoughts on this subject? lol....all I know is I have stank and frequent gas...lol

and my diet consists of

chicken, tuna, turkey, wheat bread, brown rice, vegies, fruits, beans, whey protein, almonds, PB, and oats...the main things at least

Are you eating a ton of fiber? That can cause gas if you go from low fiber diet to higher fiber diet. Try mixing fiber sources - in other words, if you are getting a ton of fiber from grains, try mixing in vegetables and fruits to take off the edge.

Yogurt or other fermented dairy may help, or it may not depending on the person.

I had horrendous gas when I first started bulking. At some point your body will get used to it and stop making so much.

yeah I eat a pretty good balance between grains/fruits/veggies

I just hope my body adapts to it, cause damn I can't be passing this sh!t all the time, hahaha
