im finding atkins isnt really for me but ive been pretty good @ sticking to a low carb diet


heres what i ate today

1/2 cup of oatmeal 27 carbs

3 eggs , mushroom spinach scramble
1 kaft slice 2 carbs

3grilled chicken tenders

1 can of tuna on a bed of raw green beans with lemon on top

1 can of diet orange soda 0 carb ..

80 oz of water !


i had one whey isolate protein shake (6 carbs )
1 apple , 1 nectarine

what do you guys think ?

okay here we go :)
im 24 female and not active at all
5'10 and i will never tell anyone how much my actual weight is but i will say i have to lose 100 pounds :)
do you have any advice about my diet ?



low carb = no fruit

Not very much food! But it looks pretty good for a low calorie diet. Just don't get stuck in a rut eating the same thing every day. Try and mix it up, substituting similar items (i.e. change your carb source/meats/veggies around to get a good mix of nutrients). Also drizzle a little olive oil on your veggies to get some healthy fat. Gotta take care of your heart, not just your thighs...

If you have 100lb to lose, you need a lifestyle change, not a temporary diet.

Eat the way you think you can indefinitely - for the rest of you life, not just for X months. If that means just making 1-2 small changes every month or two, then do that for the next 5 years and guess what? When the s**t hits the fan in 2,5,10 years or whenever, you won't balloon back up to 100+lb overweight.
