What do you guys seem to have the best luck with when it comes to your post workout carbs?

I have tried Gatorade/Chocalate Milk/ON Recovery/Bagels-bread ect...

could you tell a difference between those carbs as far as recovery or ease of digestion was concerned?

I am very afraid of post workout carbs, but I am thinking of adding a handful of rice krispies. That is a fast digesting carb that isn't just sugar

do what works for you. I would try something more nutrient dense like a baked potato or banana but its up to you. this is only one meal so make good choices at all other meals and i see no negative to gatorade pwo. maybe just use a cup of gatorade and maybe a banana.

scared..of food? sounds like a problem....my fav post workout right now is 2 scoops ON vanilla whey, 3 tablespoons cherry kool-aid mix, in 20 oz. water. the taste is different, very good. if not that i either go with gatorade or a bagel with honey.

as in - have been doing the low carb thing so long that when I hear fast digesting carbs (like Koolaid) I think we are talking about the antichrist. I know this is not correct, but in general fast digesting carbs are a dangerous tool to be used carefully.

How much Gatorade do you need for the same amount of carbs in a bagel? It must be quite a bit.
