the following works everytime for me.

fill the pan with eggs and water. (eggs are about 90% submerged)
High heat until it boils, (covered) then wait for about a minute or two.
Turn the heat off, then wait for about 10 to 15 minutes.
your eggs are done. not runny nor hard. just right.

Put water and eggs in a pot. Put the pot on the stove and turn it on.

Wait until the water starts boiling, then mark the time and let them boil for 10 minutes.

Then turn off the stove, put the eggs in cold water and let them cool for about 5 minutes.

Then remove the shells, and eat.

I prefer to have them boiling for 3 minutes so the yolk is nice and runny for me to dip my toast into. Your call.

They Key is to use Cold Water at first (before you put the eggs in)

And then use Cold Water after (when you rinse them).

You can also put them in the dryer with your clothes, but make sure you put a towel around the eggs first...

I've been told that adding a little salt to the water makes it so the egg shells peel easier. I haven't boiled any eggs since I've heard this though.

Yeah, my dad told me that also... but I do know that if you peel them right after they boiled, they are A LOT easier compared to peeling them the next day...
