I'm a pretty simple keto chef when it comes down to it. I don't like a lot of extra ingredients or complicated recipes, so my things are usually 'tasty' but still simple and within my macros. The protein I used in this recipe is Gaspari Intra-pro Double Chocolate:

3 Whole Eggs
2 Natural TBSP Peanut Butter
1 Scoops Chocolate Protein Powder
3 packets Splenda
Walden Farms Zero Calorie Chocolate Syrup

1 - Mix Eggs, Protein Powder, and Splenda until smooth. I use the Magic Bullet for this.

2 - Cook just like you would a pancake.

3 - Spread on PB once done, will melt quickly.

4 - Drizzle Walden Farms syrup over top.

Nutritionals:
578 Calories
36.5g Fat (328.5 cal)
51g Protein (204 cal)
11 Carbs (45.5 cal) - Includes 4g Fiber, so only 7g Net Carbs

Enjoy!

ummm im pretty sure you need some sort of flour or baking powder, plus water because they will come out dry

The liquid from the egg whites makes up for the lack of water. There is zero need for flour in this type of recipe. I made these this morning and they were magical.

doesn't protein powder get ruined when you cook it though?

No. The protein will be denatured but the amino acid profile will stay the same. It's a common myth, you dont cook a chicken and think is the protein ruined now?

Damn, I mixed the PB with the pancake mix. Wonder how it tastes with the PB on top.

What does 3 packets of Splenda convert to when you're using the granulated Splenda in the box? Are they any different?

Edit: Looked it up on their website, it converts to 3 tsp.

Amazing! But I also use some vanilla soy milk and waldens farms chocolate syrup with cinnamon and mix it all together..it makes a thinner syrup and it is AWESOME! It comes out almost like a mousse.

tried it, 2 scoops of protein though.

Too bad I didn't have any chocolate syrup. I wonder if it's due to the fact that I added another scoop of protein but the pancakes where pretty dry

I will try this tomorrow-morning. We don't have splenda over here so I'm gonna use some candarel (aspartame)

I prefer the flax seed version. Get my protein AND my fibre.

I tried it this morning, wasn't bad but still tasted a bit omelet-like. If only I had some SF choc syrup :)

Also, i'm pretty sure Casein protein is much stronger and holds up in high heat.

And I'm not entire sure the amino acid profile stays the same, but either way it definately counts as protein

I'm gonna give this a try. I also have the cup cake abtter, and cinnamon bun. I'll use these first.

Also, where are you guys getting the walden farms syrup? Any grocery store or from specialty health food stores?

why does it have so much fat in it? Doesnt seem like there is that much fat in what your cooking besides maybe 15g from the PB?
