View Full Version : Flaxseed ginger crackers.

Ok, this is not an exact recipe. You can pretty much add in what you want, and it should work out well.

10g butter
10g inulin (other sweeteners may work, but I think this stuff was nice and sticky)
20g or so mixture of flaxseed, sesame seeds, ground almond, peanut butter, bran etc.
Couple of pinches of ginger or other spice.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the inulin and stir well till it melts.
Add in the flaxseeds or whatever mixture you have. Stir in in well, until it just starts to brown.
Add in ginger.
Put onto a baking sheet, and flatten down with the back of a spoon.
Chill in frige.

Macros depend on what you use. I used flaxseed, ground almond and bran, because that's what I had in the house. Next time I'm going to try sesame seeds.

Slightly easier method.

Put about 1 tablespoon or less of hot water into your pan to start, add the inulin and stir till it's melted. then add the butter and flaxseeds etc. Makes it less likely to burn.
