Im not on your keto diet thing............. but how would this dinner work on it?

Cheesy beefy asparagus

Beef was 96/4 I guess you guys would use higher.
just some frozen asparagus
and some sharp cheddar cheese.

came out to

903 cal.
373 fat cal.
117g protein.
cheese had 1 gram of carbs.

would you guys just use a higher fat meat? to get more calories?

Good... What I use is 5 oz 85/15 beef, 1 oz colby, 1 tbsp mayo and some hot sauce.

cal from fat. 373
cal from protein 530
cal from carb 4.

so for that meal it would be

41/58/1 %

and you guys want 50-60% of your cals from fat. So i would need to up to percentage like you said to 85/15 to make the %'s correct.

man.....i was never good at math

Thats a litle much protein for a keto meal. Id opt for like 80/20 if not just regular hamburger.

Still.. A good dinner. Leaves options open. You could make it with a taco seasoning and add in.. green peppers but not a ton since they are kinda sugary.

And top it all with some sour cream, guac and melted pepperjack/nacho cheese.

ok so

change the hamburger to 80/20
and throw on some sour cream and guac for some more calories?

is there a downside to eating less calories on this diet? will the couple extra calories help me ? just more energy or what?
