Bought a 48 pack of Top Ramen beef flavor from winco....yes i know all about the sodium and fat content...but heres my question.

It was $1.98. for 48.

is all the fat and bad crap in the flavor packets???

I assume i could just cook the noodles and theyd be just like regular noodles, and i could add tuna, salmon, low calorie sauce etc....

am i wrong?

The noodles are high in refined carbs, and most instant noodles contain trans-fats. Not a good choice.

THe noodles are fried, so the fat is in the noodles as well. Good thing it was jus 2 bucks. I'd throw em out. There are plenty of other healthy, cheap foods you can get

They are ok once in a while, but def. not a good choice as a main food.

Rice and veggies are a MUCH better choice ... and ALMOST just as cheap! :D

those "instant" noodles are precooked first, they are fried in fat...they soak it up like a sponge!
the packets contain all the salt, MSG and whatever else is in there...

way better off just boiling regular pasta!
only takes about 5minutes longer...doesnt have the fat!

I tried making the noodles with out the flavor packet once and they tasted like crap. I would not recommend.

I would not eat those at all, if I were you I would just stash them in my basement or car along with a sealed jug of water in case of disaster or emergencies. Those things are pure chemicals
