im just saying
how "valueable" is a guy who when you actually need him to be the leader and player he is, in the most crucial time they turn into ****?
arod got rewarded for that and so did Sabathia
im just saying the rules or something need to be changed cuz too many regular season stars/ post season tards get awards
this isnt attacking the players...its attacking the way we vote for these awards
i really think post season needs to be cosidered somehow

they have absolutely no veteran starting pitching thats any good
they will rely on youngins who could either blossom or rot and turn into **** and prevent the yankees from making the playoffs since starting pitching is such an important part of winning

sadly ortiz will never get it unless he plays defense
that year that arod got it with slightly better numbers but where papi had game winner after game winner....and then the playoffs started and again papi with game winner after game winner in one of the most clutch season of any player all time.....and nothing
if he didnt win that year....he will never win it

Going out on the whim here..

Whose your MVP:
AL Miguel Cabrera - deadliest hitter in one of the best offenses.
NL David Wright - has a chance to go .300 - 35 HR - 110 RBI - 100 Run - 30 SB.

CY Young
AL Eric Bedard - out of AL East and pitching in a pitcher's heaven.
NL Jake Peavy - without him the Padres go from playoff contender to bottom feeder.

My WS pick Houston Astros vs. Detroit Tigers

(i think people underestimate the astros pitching staff plus we have like the most potent lineup in the NL)

AL MVP- Alex Rodriquez (he is just too deadly
AL CY YOUNG- Scott Kazmir (i have a gut feeling its gonna be a great year)

NL MVP- Ryan Braun (kid is deadly) Or Lance Berkman (i expect major power)
NL CY YOUNG- Roy Oswalt (about time)
