There has been a lot of press coverage lately here about concern over mercury levles found in fish particularly tuna., and concerns for pregnant women. As bodybuilders however with higher tuna intake than the person on the street is this a concern for us?

I don't know. I was just helping my son with a report on overfishing in Norway and read a lot of the same stuff having to do with tuna & salmon. Well, at least those are the ones I remember because I eat a lot of both.

It is might tasty.

Most of this mercury-in-fish "news" is greenie propaganda, disseminated in order to cause doubt in the minds of lesser-informed people, and perhaps cause them to give up tasty and nutritious meat, then switch to bean sprouts and tofu, with a side order of malnutrition.

I agree. When I was helping my son do research for his paper I told him not to be swayed too much by Greenpeace. LOL They can get kind of scary.

Yikes! I've been eating a lot more tuna lately. And if I had more access to really good salmon, I doubt that I'd eat anything else. While vacationing in Vancouver, I think about every meal I ordered had some form of salmon in it!

Fisherman's pie tomorrow with tuna actually. I only eat as much as I did before. However, I DO eat tons of surimi (crab meat) so does anyone know if they are the same as tuna or is it got to do with where they swim (near sunken submarines perchance?)

Fifth race for the black boat today??? Or have they given up because of the broken mast yesterday? Edster?

I have just switched on the Tv to follow it and not sure...
