How do I "fix" my pec tear??

Tore my left pec in '99 ib the middle of a Gladiator series and completed 10 more shows before going to Doc who told me it was too late to repair - so now I live with it. Took me six months to be able to bench more than 20 kg again.

Chest workout currently consists of:

Inline DB presses
Incline flyes
Seated machine presses
Cable crossovers
Dips

Chest has always been a weak point for me but have recently managed to bring it up with this routine.

I stay away from flat bench BB as it tends to cause pec to tear further judging by pain I feel when doing it. I know that a tear is not EVER going to repair and at last comps in 2003 I posed around tear in routine but it jumps out at you during compulsery round.

There have been many pro's compete with tears before and was just wondering if anyone had any "miracle" ideas as I plan to compete again in 2007

Check the tear out

Thumbs up

I would start all over going to doctors and by doctors I mean those versed in sports medicine. I was pm-ing with someone oh this forum the other day about a similar problem. We both had to go to several doctors and actually got operated on by doctors that didn't know how to fix the problem before we found the right one.

So my advice is to start googling sports medicine pec tears and find a few docs to call and maybe make an evaluation appointment.
