    Protein from milk

    is there anything wrong with getting a lot of protein from milk, either skimmed or semi skimmed?

    not at all. Milk is a great source of protein. You should mix milk with your protein shakes anyways to up the protein amount. I use skim milk to stay away from the fat and I drink it all throughout the day. I go through about 3 gallons a week. But don't forget about water! Water is just as important when bodybuilding.
