How much red meat..???
im getting alot of mixed responses from a lot of seemingly educated people.. how much red meat (steak- sirloin, round, etc.) should i consume a week while im actually cutting 3 more percent bodyfat. i heard i need anywhere from 4 to 8 ounces a week, i like to keep my diet extremely clean, and these red meats have a lot of fat/calories in them compared to chicken or tuna, (which i basically live on..) i heard the pure creatine in the meat really stimulates muscle growth and helps retain the fullness of the muscle, ive heard without that certain type of fat found in the meat muscles can start to appear flat... what do you all think...

I'd presonally say it's OK to eat most red meats....just stay away from Pork, and the Fatty strips on steaks in general and you should be fine.
Try to buy steaks which have a higher percentage of Lean Meat in them(the package should give a percentage range)
Personally whenever possible I eat my steaks Rare or almost Raw....there is TONS more protein and minerals in them.Although you run the risk of parasites, and multiple other diseases from low cooked red meat. There is probably alittle more fat in rare meat too.
Because when you cook meat WELL DONE, you are actually creating lots of carcenigens which are released into the meat. Lots of studies show this to be extremely harmful in rare cases....But well cooked meat also loses lots of protein and nutrients when cooked.

Lean red meats are ok for cutting. IT just depends on the fat content. Fish is much better though, becuase it has less fat. You need some fat, but if you get too much, it takes away from much needed protein and carbs. It is much healthier to get your fat from healthy oils, though, rather than animal fat.
The creatine content in meat is not enough to make a dent, unless you were to eat a very large amount.

You're analyzing this too much.... The carcenogens are formed after its overly well done, I'm a bit of a girl, I love mine medium.
What studies do you have that tell you protein is lost due to cooking? (medium rare vs. medium well)
In response to the first question - I eat steak once or twice a week during my cut, Aim for the lower fat cuts and keep it factored into your macros.
Enjoy
