I am a 50 yr old Figure Competitor. I have had a good string of wins the past 2 years,( NC Championships, SC State, Grand Prix) I just started competing at 48, in 2014. I am crazy active, a personal trainer, from sun up to sun down. It's odd but during prep I crave peanut butter, andveat it, all natural with rice cakes. So far it hasn't affected my cutting or performance, but I always want to look better on stage of course, what are opinions on leaving off the PB? I figured as long as it fits in my macros it's ok? I stay pretty lean year round, currently 115 and 3 weeks out, 5'3, usually hit stage at 114/115; bf 11% now.
I plan to do Masters Nationals in July so want to make sure everything is on point, macros, foods etc...

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! If you're still right on track and feel like you are where you wanna be for this show, I would keep it in until peak week. If you're not sure if it's hindering progress, switch to eating unsalted almonds and see if there is any change in your body.
Good luck with your show! You look great!
