I noticed how many military members we seem to have here at bb.com so here is a place to discuss all things military, bitch about things that happened, whine about the bad chow/living conditions/pay, let everybody know about your promotions/awards, all are welcome to participate and ask questions if they dont know about the military or need help with a current situation!! Stay Motivated and stay safe!!!

Im here with ya.
I'll start it off with a pic of the new air force uniform they are proposing:

"If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

I'll sum up all of my experiences with this: The military is a great place to learn, grow, and better yourself in many, many ways... but as far as staying in for 20+, I think it is a waste... Unless you are an officer with a fullfilling job. (pilot)
I've put in 6 with USAF communicaitons, and it just doesnt pay to stay in any longer. The money is too long on the outside, and the bull**** dissapears once you leave... In the military, SCUMBAGS can get carried to retirement when in the civilian world their asses would get FIRED. It is a great way of life and an honorable trade, but I've had enough of the low pay, stagnated growth, and working for people who are less capable than me.MISC Legend, Decorated USAF Veteran, Life Coach, World Traveler, Entrepreneur, Political Activist, & Hater Hurter Extraordinaire.
