I noticed how many military members we seem to have here at bb.com so here is a place to discuss all things military, bitch about things that happened, whine about the bad chow/living conditions/pay, let everybody know about your promotions/awards, all are welcome to participate and ask questions if they dont know about the military or need help with a current situation!! for MOS school, im a p-19/p-26 driver, senior rescue and pin man when im in the rear, but over here im doing a personal security detail and i drive for him too.

sorry i think the AF is totally going to poop. Its like people have nothing to do but spit out AFI's anymore and damn it i hate AFI police, i miss old school AF..... well back in the late 90's AF before way before our sweet new pro volley ball team PT gear

Beale AFB, home of the U2 (which I work on) and the Global Hawk. This is the worst base I've ever seen. I'd rather be deployed back to the desert

no Marines, we had to go thru the whole school. it was a waste though b/c im latmoving when i get home from deployment

I had i think 5 marines in my class, man were we scared of you guys hahahaha talk about respect for rank in the AF if a E4 tells a E2 to do something and he tells him to STFU then well ok. this is now a days not back in the day though. Now we get Time out cards in basic. How are we supposed to be the biggest bad ass war machine with Fing time out cards WTF over

you dont' have to wear a reflective belt if you have the PT gear on..... that's what the shiny **** on the back and on the shorts are for.

lol, the airmen in my class were afraid of us too we had like 6 Marines. thats the difference in rank though, e-4 to us is an NCO it isnt for u guys so everybody thinks their equal to an e1-e4. if you mouth of to an e-4 such as myself you will live to regret it

remember AF guys..... even the ****tiest AF base is still better than the best **** the Army and Marines have.

I'll sum up all of my experiences with this: The military is a great place to learn, grow, and better yourself in many, many ways... but as far as staying in for 20+, I think it is a waste... Unless you are an officer with a fullfilling job. (pilot)

I've put in 6 with USAF communicaitons, and it just doesnt pay to stay in any longer. The money is too long on the outside, and the bull**** dissapears once you leave... In the military, SCUMBAGS can get carried to retirement when in the civilian world their asses would get FIRED. It is a great way of life and an honorable trade, but I've had enough of the low pay, stagnated growth, and working for people who are less capable than me.
